1. Who is responsible

The controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is Nico Schneeweis, Bojanusgasse 16/1/5, 1220 Vienna, Austria, support@filmevate.com.

2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Framer B.V., Netherlands. When you visit the site, the server automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, date and time of access and the referring page. This is necessary to deliver the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest). Framer may use service providers outside the EU, including in the USA. Such transfers are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

3. Analytics

We use Framer Analytics to understand how the site is used. It does not set cookies and does not create persistent identifiers, so we cannot identify you personally.

4. Contacting us

If you email us, we process your email address and the content of your message to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Emails to support@filmevate.com are forwarded via ImprovMX to our mailbox at Google (Google Ireland Limited). We delete your messages once they are no longer needed, unless legal retention periods apply.

5. Purchases

Our products are sold through Polar Software, Inc. (USA), which acts as merchant of record and authorized reseller. Polar processes your payment details under its own privacy policy; we never see your full card data. Polar shares your name, email address, country and order details with us so we can deliver your product and provide support (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep these records for as long as Austrian tax law requires, generally seven years (§ 132 BAO).

6. Links to Instagram

Our site links to our Instagram profile. No data is sent to Meta until you click the link. After that, Meta's privacy policy applies.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase or restrict the processing of your data, to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise these rights, email support@filmevate.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.

We may update this policy when our services change. The current version is always available on this page.
